Excellent analysis by Caulton Tudor and great follow up by Tar Heel Fan. I count myself as part of a small minority of fans who prefers football to basketball. Mind you, I love and support the Heels bball team, but in my heart I am a college football fan, and it pains me to see UNC struggle so.

Mack @#$@ Brown proved that Carolina can recruit the players necessary to stay competitive in college football. It can be done, although it will take a coach willing to check his ego and acknowledge that Basketball will always be king, something that Mack ultimately couldn't do.

Keep up the good work THF--Bunting needs to go. Is he a fantastic guy? Absolutely, and to fire him wouldn't suggest otherwise. But he is clearly not suited to the rigors of coaching college football. Let's find the next Dan Hawkins-type, someone with head coach experience who has proved himself at a mid-major school and get on with it!
