What a great victory! I was so proud of how the team kept gritting it out, eventually finding a way to win. Even though I live in the tundra called Ohio, I have season tickets to the football games and will be there Saturday night. Who would have ever thought a football game against UCONN could be so huge?

I'm obviously pleased with Sexton and how Saturday turned out, but let's slow down before we think we're covered until Yates returns.

There must be a reason why Butch and Shoop felt Sexton was the #3 guy. Let's not go losing our heads just yet. Sexton has earned the start on Saturday - we'll have to see what happens from there.

These next four games are perplexing. UConn will come in at 5-0 and ranked in the top 25, but I'm not sure exactly how good they are yet. The one game I saw was less than impressive, but it was against Temple in a tropical storm. And is ND back? And just how good is BC? Just going 2-2 in October means we head into the bye week at 5-3 and looking good for a bowl.

On the other hand, of our remaining 8 games, 6 of our 8 remaining opponents came through September undefeated or with only one loss. And the other two are at UVa (aka the House of Horrors) and at State. We could play very well and split our last 8 games...

WOW, I was hoping for at least 3 AND 1 after our first four games but I had no idea we'd get it this way.

I'm sure Butch is kicking himself for not playing Cameron in the VT game. He might have been able to overcome the BS that was the Ron Cherry show.

Anyway, should be a great crowd once again at Kenan this coming Saturday. Carolina football hasn't been this good since the Peppers days.

Speaking of crowds, how about the most "loyal and passionate" fanbase in the world deserting the mighty Wolfpack just because of a little rain and a big ASS whoopin. ;-)

I think Tydreke might be our best D lineman.

What's the saying? An improving football program goes from losing big, to losing little, to winning little, to winning big. Well I think we're in step 3.

I agree with that Wilf! THF, I thought those defensive plays by Goddard & Powell were great as well, all of which could be plays of the game. Our defense giveth, our defense taketh away!

Cam's the man. I certainly didn't see it coming, and neither did the hurricanes. What a fantastic win and a great game to watch. BTW, Greg Little's TD was incredible.

Who in this crazy world would have thought that Cam Sexton could come in and do the job that he did? Not I. Poised, strong arm, unflusterable.(Its a word now). Kudos to the play calling also. It's obvious that Tarheel football has taken a step up. Great coaching, strategy, motivation at half time(it's not over till its over god****it). Of course the mistakes remain-penalties, fumbled punt snap, kickoff out of bounds. But a corner I think has been turned. We can be good and respected on the gridiron. The whole first half of the espn telecast over and over talked about the Miami swagger being back, blah blah blah freakin blah. I am so proud. Cheers to everyone for staying strong and not giving up. All right all right....
