That is about what I expected. The additional test was a bone scan which showed no damage to the bone. Still does not worry me, I think they are being extra cautious and make sure he is ready. I would look for him to miss the Penn game if this is the case.

"Tyler had some tests today that gave us more information," Williams says. "There is a great possibility that we will hold Tyler out of practice for the next two weeks, then re-evaluate his condition at that time.

I'm not very encouraged about this.

Not only does Tyler need to get the ACC scoring title so that a Heel is on top, but also to supplant one of the most hated Dookies ever.

I think the team will be fine come the ACC regular season and tournament time. No doubt Tyler will surpass Phil Ford for UNC's scoring lead in a few games but I'm really hoping he surpasses Reddick for the all-time ACC scoring lead. Let's get a Tar Heel up there.

IF Tyler misses any games (I'm not convinced that will happen, yet) let's hope Deon, Ed, or Tyler v2.0 can, "pull a Q" and raise their game to, and then maintain at, the next level!

BTW, I'm officially coining the the term, "Pull a Q." It seems like an appropriate tribute! ;)

After last year, the team is used to dealing with injuries. I am sure they are also very confident that when they get in the tournament, it will be time to turn on the heat. I suspect losing a few games here and there if Tyler and/or Marcus are out will not freak them out.

All I can think to say is we hope Tyler for personal reasons even more than team reasons gets well. He's sacrificed an NBA slot and big money for Carolina, and now all we can say is that he deserves to get well, and for the long run be good to go for a long career in the NBA. There has probably been no more talented, unselfish, humble player in the history of college basketball.
