Crud, Jimmy Sexton is full of it. I didn’t realize he was Davis’ agent.

UVAheel is right, we should expect this as long as Butch Davis is our coach, because our coach’s agent is Jimmy Sexton. Sexton is a master at negotiating ridiculous contracts with obscene buyouts. Sexton represents five head coaches in the SEC alone in Nick Saban ($32 million man), Tommy Tuberville ($5 million buyout), Phillip Fulmer, Houston Nutt and Steve Spurrier. These coaches names get thrown into the coaching carouse regularly, resulting in raises for the coaches time and time again.

One should expect this now as long as Butch Davis is our coach. There will be people who want to hire him, we have to hope his wife doesn’t have as much influence as that quote seems to indicate.

Women don’t ask that type of question without thought and motive.

I love UNC and I am a big fan, but that quote should concern the Tar Heel nation

I don’t either. There is a 2nd page to the article on their website and I clicked to it but it does not follow up that paragraph with anything.

Also, I thought “veritable” and wrote “venerable” Go figure.

What does the last paragraph of in that quoted block mean? I can’t for the life of me figure out what they’re shooting at.

Also, though I think you meant “veritable”, the phrase “venerable madhouses” is making me chuckle. They certainly are that.
