I believe that Doherty has stated that it was UNC which urged him to resign in lieu of being fired. Doherty has since stated that he feels that the university did not, indeed, have his best interests at heart and that he would have been better off getting fired in terms of settlement. Too many guys to track. That being said, UNC has 18 verbals at present so it is possible they try to move in on some of these guys. Several highly touted recruits have decommitted from Clemson. Do the Heels have enough scholarships to pull in 5 or 6 more guys this year?
