In both the Notre Dame game and with Virginia he resorted to a 3 man rush at the end of the game which didn't come close to pressuring the quarterback and allowed each team to march down the field to the goal line. He didn't learn a thing from the Notre Dame game when he allowed Clausen to throw at will, and as we all know, they almost scored. He did the same thing, 3 man rush, no pressure, on Virginia's last drive which allowed them to score and tie the game. I think Coach Davis has done a great job so far; I just don't understand changing the defense (which has worked well for the whole game) to a "prevent" type of thing which obviously doesn't work with this team.
