I could have sworn I saw rivals.com project us to play in the Orange Bowl. This, of course, is assuming UNC can win out and prevail in the ACC title game.
I see no reason why they can’t do it. There are three winnable games left on the schedule, and Butch has these kids believing and playing like they have no tomorrow. While I’ll happily take ANY bowl game this year, a BCS game would put the icing on the cake.

They could easily be undefeated, a la Kansas of last year, although I still wonder if we could come within two touchdowns of Oklahoma or USC on a neutral field. But still, nice season! People are beginning to forget that there is a basketball game on Saturday and that is saying something!

I agree that we got Miami at a better time. Their D was pretty awesome in the second half.

The Heels need to get it together now. We got bailed out tonight, and we’ve got 3 very winnable games left. I think if we don’t beat ourselves, there’s no way we can’t close this out. We’ve played and beaten better teams this year, so LET’S GO TAR HEELS!!!

THF, remember we beat them starting Paulus at QB and Cam came in late in the 1st qtr I believe. We have vastly improved ourselves with the development of the running game….

Clearly the Coastal Division is superior to the Atlantic across the board except for dook.

The door is open.

There is NO reason we can’t run the ball at will on Saturday. VT’s Allen ran for 250 yds against the Terps and had 40 tonight at Miami. Also, We can’t afford any turnovers!

We need to pressure Md. QB Turner while smothering their big reciever. Make Turner beat us with his legs……. we win going away.
