I know I said I was done with football, but we should really take one more look at Hakeem Nicks’ freak show catch during the Car Bowl on Saturday because (1) it is probably the last time we will see Nicks in a Tar Heel uniform and (2) it may be one of the best catches I have ever seen.

That really was one hell of a catch.
I hope Nicks sticks around for next season for y’all, but his stock has skyrocketed since Tate was injured (due in large part to catches like that) and if he has a solid combine I just don’t see how he can pass up the opportunity.
The fact that Tate got injured is going to factor in as well. Nicks does not want to come back and injure his knee the way Tate did.
Didn’t get to see the bowl so that’s the first time I’ve seen that. Wow!

Well #31 made a huge mistake there. He thought the pass was dropped so he gave him one of those little pushes you give on incompletions. If he wraps him up there, Heels do not get the first down.
