This was a night when he was being overshadowed again by an opposing guard but Lawson actually kept his head in the game and ended up outplaying Douglas. Aside from the outstanding final basket, he also got a brilliant charge called on Douglas and grabbed a rebound and made an important length of the court running lay-up to tie the score at 69 when Carolina looked to be in big trouble.
