So, what record wins the ACC? 13-3 or 12-4? I still think UNC has a decent shot to finish 14-2, but if they do, that may be a solid 2 games ahead of the field...

I don't think it's fair to our team to suggest that, in the BC game, we came out not ready to play in anything like the sense that Dook was not ready to play today.

We were outplayed by BC for most of the game and lost by 7 points. Dook was dominated by Clemson from start to finish and lost by 27 points -- roughly four times as much.

I was disheartened by the BC loss. But Dook fans should be shocked by the Clemson loss, and I'd bet a good deal that most of them are.

And in case you missed it like I did, although I did see his shenanigans on Saturday, Chas McFarland has lost his starting position on Wake's team and his minutes have been cut in half. This is not exactly what you want at this point in the season, but you could see that that kid had some issues in the UNC-Wake game.

Like us against BC? So much of that kind of thing is just random I think. Does anyone remember bio-rhythms? How often have we heard that such and such team had their best practice before getting pasted?

If Spain had hit a couple of more shots, he would have gone from genius to idiot in the Olympics, but it probably is not fair. Those guys should have been winning all along.

That is one thing about having a balanced team on offense an defense. When defense-wins-championships Duke fell behind, you pretty much knew it was over, but just look how fast UNC made up most of a 15 point deficit against BC.

No wonder he wouldn't answer questions. His team came out not ready to play. Some might suspect this was the coach's fault.

Just like that 40 UVa loss to Ralph and Terry back in 1982 that he always whined about. He didn't seem to mind dropping a 41-point loss on Maryland though.

william,

Sounded like he was about to cry at the beginning. After that he generally refused to answer questions with any depth and was short with the reporters. Said something about not forgetting this loss if you wear a Duke uniform.
