The 2008 U.S. team coached themselves. Enough. Look at the impact the Olympic involvment has had on Dook recruiting. Then again, that is probably the talking point most Dook fans would like to focus on, so it would (like the "back injury" in 1994/95) excuse less-than-stellar results. And with all due respect to Kansas, the proposed lineup would be as talented, or more talented, than any in the country. Indeed, it has four probable-to-certain NBA players in it.
