By punching one of them in the nose…twice.
Freshman defensive end Donte Paige-Moss was charged with misdemeanor assault after punching teammate Hunter Furr in a dorm room on July 16th. Furr ended up calling public safety over the incident which brought about the charges.
Paige-Moss is due to appear August 20th in Orange County.
Butch Davis said it was just an “unfortunate situation” and the two players were friends before the incident and still friends now. Neither player is expected to miss any games but one can only imagine what kind of running they probably had to do.

I nominate him for the Steve Smith Award For Extreme Team Motivational Achievements… the coveted golden “he hate me” jersey…
A dorm room scuffle between two true freshmen…..front page of the N&0 Sports. LOL
What’s laughable, and predictable, is the reaction from the haters. “UNC athletes get all the breaks.” “Swept under the rug.” “Butch recruits thugs.” “(insert name of school) would have kicked him out.” You know the drill.
Well, sounds like typical 20-year-old behavior that could happen anywhere.
I’m sure he’s a fine young man, but I can’t help but wonder if “Hunter Furr” is a stage name.
