    Happy Thanksgiving ya’ll!

  • Misplaced Tar Heel

Happy Thanks Giving to all too. Just want to mention I’m very thankful for a number of things, but Roy, Ty, Wayne, Tyler, and Danny – thanks for sending me out of NC on the right note. The day after the National Championship I was packing, and that Wednesday I left NC for Mississippi, for good. Hard, hard transition, haha.

Lets be merry, get fat, and sleep well!

  • Heel To The End

    hey, dont forget James Daye.

Happy Thanksgiving to Tar Heels everywhere.

  • I wasn’t sure that was him. I looked at the media guide for that season and his name did not appear on the roster the next season but I could not confirm.

  • Heels Perspective

ummmmm…..THF. Keep your perspective here. For some of us, “old school” would be Cunningham, Larry Miller, Dick Grubar,Rusty Clark, etc… I’m sure that some readers might relate to Rosenbluth and crew.

These guys in this pic, well they are young pups.

Looking forward to your coverage of the Heels smacking down the Pack.

Steve Hale was one of my all-time favorite Tar Heels players. His hustle, play and shooting were so good. I think he is one of the most underrated players in Heels history. I think it is pretty cool that asst. coach Joe Holladay was Hale’s high school basketball coach at Jenks High in Oklahoma. Roy developed a good relationship with him while he was recruiting Hale.

  • Wow. I used to have that yearbook.

    Thanks THF.

This is a great idea by @UNC_Basketball (http://twitter.com/UNC_Basketball) to do these weekly retro media guides.
