I spent a little more time looking at recruiting and while the information is generally protected by the pay sites there are a few decent sources, some can even write. Hopefully I’m not crossing the line by posting the following link since it’s another blog – it is focused on recruiting in SC & NC, mostly SC. Didn’t see much in there for State – I’m sure it’s all good.

Good point, what is going on at State with FB? I can tell you that recruiting continues at UNC with the verbal from Sean Fitzpatrick – taking him from Maryland. He’s a smart kid to be sure.

ok, i saw a different angle, from the right of the ones above, on WRAL news, and i think you could see that Moss took a weak swipe/punch at Lucas. he may have even whiffed, i’m not sure. but it wouldnt have done any damage at its angle and how close they were. but i guess that isnt really the point.

That is an excellent reply by Davis, and hopefully that’s the last you’ll hear of it from the UNC side. Of course we’ll hear more of it from Sate, but like THF said, what else is going on with State football right now?

its the State players that appear to SPRINT, en masse, past the midpoint of the field, as the game is ending. almost exactly the literal chest pump, as a team, that Raj talks about. ^^

there’s no way that was a suspendable offense.

but here’s an idea. win the damn game, and its State sulking off the field with a total bust of a season. instead, you let them win their sole meaningful game in any of their team sports.
i mean, they will literally be hanging their hats on that one day for the next 11 1/2 months. thats it. thats all they have.

Its the Chuck Amato playbook all over again. If you can’t give your fans a winning season to feel good about then give them a bunch of hollow tough talk and chest pounding instead. Oh well – if State fans are willing to eat that … junk… up, I guess I can’t blame TOB for serving it to them.

Daily Doc points out that TOB chose to debate this issue in the media. We don’t know if he called BD or not, but clearly he called the N&O.

I’ve looked at the video several times and I can’t tell if Lucas said something or if he did the “howling” BS in Moss’s ear. I can’t believe Moss simply chose to shove Lucas for no reason.

Heck, I didn’t see a whole lot of anything going on anywhere. There’s more pushing and shoving after about every play in the average game than what I saw in that video. Yet again, mountains out of molehills, just like Fan-Gate with Roy.

I think O’Brien should spend more time trying to figure out how to beat teams not named UNC than he should about this crap. I also think Butch and the Heels should put 100% of their focus on Pitt.
