Per Twitter, UNC will finally receive the final report from the NCAA Committee on Infractions bringing an end to the almost two year investigation into UNC football.

The NCAA will hold a teleconference at 3 PM today to announce the UNC's final sanctions. UNC will hold a teleconference with reporters at 4:30 PM. Chancellor Holden Thorp, AD Bubba Cunningham and former AD Dick Baddour will be on the call.

While the national media, such as Yahoo's Charles Robinson, continue to push that UNC will be punished on a level commiserate with what Ohio State received, we continue to maintain the NCAA will only add probation and some increased scholarship reductions to what was self imposed back in October. That being said, Robinson has shown himself to have an inside bead on this process plus no one can say for certain what the COI will do given its history of inconsistency.
