I came across this link posted on Inside Carolina. It is Roy Williams' introductory press conference from when he was hired at Kansas in 1988.

Roy has certainly gotten more polished and practiced at speaking in front of reporters. Clearly he looks a tad uncomfortable in this video but that is not the case now. Then there are some things which never change such as dropping a golf reference, making joke that involved his wife Wanda and referring to himself in the third person. If the man is anything, he is consistent.

Also of note is Roy telling the folks in Kansas he hoped their next press conference to introduce a head coach would be in 30 years. It didn't work out that way but as it stands right now I don't see anyone at either UNC or Kansas complaining.
