NCAA Regional: #1 UNC vs #3 St. John's

Where: Boshamer Stadium, Chapel Hill, NC
When: Sunday, June 3rd, 6:00 PM
Radio/Internet: CBS ULive: TBA
Records: UNC 46-15, SJU 39-21

UNC was able to get past ECU 5-3 but not without the loss of R.C. Orlan to an apparent elbow injury. Michael Morin came in to pitch the ninth and gave up another one out home run before shutting the door on a flyout and strikeout.

The Heels will send Shane Taylor(5-0 2.75 ERA) to the mound in a bid to force a decisive game on Monday night. St. John's will counter with Matt Carsati who is 6-5 with a 3.79 ERA. Aside from the use of Morin and Orlan, the Tar Heel bullpen was not taxed in the win over ECU with Luis Paula and Tate Parrish facing one batter each. Morin faced four batters giving up the home run and would likely be available if needed versus St. John's.

First pitch is at 6:oo PM.
