Do not fear, Justin Watts has the power.

Everyone is worried about losing Marshall. But come on Tar Heels, have a little faith. There are a number of good reasons to trust in the power of Justin Watts. I'll share a few with those of you in the dark regarding our guy:

In recent interviews Watts has been pretty amped up to play. Based on attitude alone, I bet you he's going to light up that scoreboard. Watts may not be as amazing as Marshall --who is?-- but expect to see him throw the switch and really turn on the juice. He's can play PG and everyone's going to be moving in parallel while he helps conduct the offense.

He's also the type of player who is going to take a lot of charges on defense. There's going to be a lot more resistance from our "new" point guard than the other team(s) will expect. Teams can rarely keep up with us; that's partially due to Marshall, but I still expect them to run out of energy in the next few rounds. Heck, Watts should be able to run a circuit around defenders whose legs are exhausted by this point in the season. Plus he'll be alternating with White to keep both their batteries full.

So I'm not all that worried. The atmosphere in St. Louis is going to be electric. I'm ready for Watts to turn the lights out on Ohio.

What do you think? Do you have any bright insights into our current team?
