I'll start off my introducing myself. I've been a commenter at SB Nation's Jacksonville Jaguars site, Big Cat Country, for nearly a year now and I wanted to find out what opinion UNC fans held of Quinton Coples.

While the Jaguars have for many years looked for a defensive who can provide both a consistent pass rush and the ability to anchor the line against the run, many of my fellow fans are divided on Coples. Many say that they don't see any pass rushing talent or they think he's lazy (which I think is crap by the way). And so that is why I figured I'd go to the source of knowledge on Coples since as UNC fans you've watched him for nearly four years now.

There is one thing I would like ask: What is your opinion not only on Coples but of him playing Left Defensive End instead of Right Defensive End in the NFL? Personally I think that's where he could be very good and very productive at the NFL level and, just for comparisons sake, have a Justin Tuck type of career.
