ST LOUIS, MO - MARCH 25: John Henson #31 of the North Carolina Tar Heels looks to pass as he is defended by Kevin Young #40 of the Kansas Jayhawks during the 2012 NCAA Men's Basketball Midwest Regional Final at Edward Jones Dome on March 25, 2012 in St Louis, Missouri. Most draft boards had him going higher than 14th, but in a draft with fair amount of surprises, it looks like Henson has slipped through the cracks to be drafted by the Bucks. There had been some concerns about his strength, but anyone who has watched him improve at Carolina over the last three years would know not to worry. As it is, he'll join a young team in need of some more interior defense, where he'll be able to contribute right away.
He'll also join below Roy Williams project Drew Gooden, a ten year veteran of the NBA. He should be able to assist Henson with is professional transition. All and all, a good pick for Milwaukee.
