Inside Carolina is reporting that Tar Heel running back Gio Bernard was not with the team when it traveled to Louisville early Friday afternoon. Bernard, who did not play last week again Wake Forest due to what is believed to be a sprained MCL, was seen practicing at full speed on Tuesday with a knee brace. Per Larry Fedora's stringent injury reporting poliicy, no word on if Bernard will be available for Saturday's game against the Cardinals.
