UNC Basketball released a statement this afternoon announcing that the tumor removed from Roy Williams' right kidney was Biopsied and found not to be cancerous. I'm certain this comes as a relief to his families, both immediate and of the larger Tar Heel community. There remains a tumor on his left kidney, for which he will undergo a similar procedure in October. Should that also not be found to be malignant, the coach shouldn't miss any games this season.
