Prior to UNC-Maryland, NC State will take on Miami with one of those ready and waiting should the Heels advance.

Maryland has been good at time this season and one of those times is the first two games of the ACC Tournament. This is also a team that, prior to Friday, had only recorded back-to-back wins versus ACC competition once this season and has not beaten three ACC teams in a row since 2011. The Terps are also in dire need of quality wins to try and squeak into the NCAA Tournament. Two over Duke is a good place to start. Adding UNC as a quality win might do the trick which is to say, Maryland will be plenty motivated.
