The appetizer before the Tar Heels take the floor against Maryland. NC State seems to have raised their level of play on both ends of the floor since coming to Greensboro. Miami, on the other hand, looked ordinary against Boston College. First game jitters? That could be and with Richard Howell nursing a thigh bruise plus Miami's perimeter defenders chasing Scott Wood off the three point line, this game could be a tough task for the Wolfpack.
