The Tar Heels will open the 2015 on Thursday, September 3rd in Charlotte versus South Carolina. That game is one of two Thursday night tilts with the second being a October 29th match-up at Pittsburgh.
UNC will play seven games at home, one game in Charlotte and four ACC contests on the road including trips to Raleigh. The Tar Heels have two Power 5 non-conference opponents on the schedule plus NC A&T and Delaware making the non-conference slate, especially at home, a little lackluster.
