What is Tar Heel Blog?

Tar Heel Blog is an independent blog focused primarily on the University of North Carolina football and basketball teams.

The Contributors

Brian Barbour: Founder of the blog and primary writer for most of the first four years. Brian is a life long UNC fan who’s favorite memories are watching UNC basketball games with his late father.  Brian is the blog administrator for editorial and technical issues.

Doc: A long time reader and contributor to the comments section, Doc now offers in-depth opinions on all things Tar Heel on the main page showing a wide range of knowledge of Tar Heel basketball and football. Doc is a graduate of UNC.

Chris Strohsahl (f/k/a C. Michael): Like Doc, Chris has been around for much of THB existence bringing intelligent takes to the comments section.  Chris’ penchant for numbers and stats snagged him a role as THB resident statistical analyst.  In 2009, he served as THB’s eyes and ears on the ground at the ACC Tournament, and will do so again in 2012.
