Brian Barbour on March 11th, 2012 | - (Comments are closed) I won’t dwell too much on this one. Why? FSU shot 57% while UNC shot 39% and the Heels had a chance to take the lead late and a shot to tie at the buzzer. This all happening without John Henson on the floor. Brian Barbour on March 11th, 2012 | - (Comments are closed) Second stop on the Tar Heel Revenge Tour 2012?
We will see. If the second Duke game is an indication UNC should play well today whether John Henson takes the floor or not. Don’t discount the fact FSU is on a mission. Should be a good one.
Comments if you have ‘em.

When Justin Watts came to UNC it was to fill an open slot left when Alex Stepheson returned home to California to be closer to his ailing father. I don’t know what Roy Williams envisioned when he brought Watts into the Tar Heel program but through [...]

Doc on March 10th, 2012 | - (Comments are closed) …because I’m not sure Ray Natili, Tim Nestor, or Brian Dorsey can.
In a game filled with inconsistent officiating, the 4th-foul charge called on Calvin Leslie stands in stark contrast to the no-call on Kendall Marshall’s game-winning shot. The emergent meme after the game was that, if Leslie’s play with 8 minutes left was a [...]

Brian Barbour on March 10th, 2012 | - (Comments are closed) UPDATE: John Henson will not play today due the the wrist injury suffered on Friday vs Maryland
UNC’s second straight game against a team they have already seen twice this season.
The bottom line here is I think UNC can win without John Henson providing a couple of things happen. First, James Michael McAdoo has [...]

#2 Duke vs #10 Virginia Tech, 7:00 PM
#3 Florida St vs #6 Miami, 9:00 PM(probably closer to 9:30 PM)
I know, I know. Duke ends up playing a lower seed than they should but in all honesty, Virginia Tech is likely to give the Blue Devils [...]

#4 Virginia vs #5 NC State, 2:30 PM
NC State needs this win to stay in the NCAA Tournament discussion. Virginia should be fine for the Big Dance but a loss here could affect their seeding. The winner gets a date with UNC on Saturday at 1 PM.
