Rejected Ideas for ESPN's "Separation Saturday"

So ESPN has trotted out another one of those marketing ploys where they slap some asinine and useless label on a particular Saturday or week in the football/basketball season. Such classics as "Bracket Busters" Saturday and "Rivalry Week" are burned into our conscience by relentless reference to it on the Worldwide Leader. So now we have "Separation Saturday" which is a rather unfortunate and ironic title because of the number of husbands who will undoubtedly anger their wives by doing zero yard work while they get drunk and watch college football all day. This will inevitably lead to "Divorce Monday" followed by "Alimony Tuesday" but I digress. Now I am thinking it probably took several interns a few hours of brainstorming to come up with this one so here is what I imagine were some of the rejected ideas for this Saturday.

Overrated(clap-clap-clap-clap-clap) Saturday

Yellow Flag Saturday

Bowden Family Reunion Saturday

Playoffs? We Don't Need No Stinkin' Playoffs Saturday

Charlie Weis is a Genius Saturday(thought to be redundant since this applies to every Saturday at ESPN)

Lou Holtz Kool Aid Saturday

Corso Conniption Saturday

Please Watch Us Even Though CBS Has The Better Games Saturday

BCS Computer Meltdown Saturday

and a late entry in honor of NC State's Chuck Amato

Non-Qualifiers Saturday
