The Tar Heels open their basketball season in less than an hour at the NIT Season Tip-Off against Sacred Heart. There's a Scrubs joke in there just begging to burst out, especially since this looks like a Dr. Cox on J.D. type matchup.
The game starts at 7 ET, on ESPN U, which I think only broadcast in Charlotte, where the game's being played anyway. To the internet radio, Batman!
(And good for the athletic department for resisting the tide of earlier and earlier basketball starts. Even with the football season this year, there's really no reason to start basketball until the second half of November.)
