- UNC showed their youth and needed a second half rally to put away upstart Winthrop, 73-66. Actually Winthrop is probably sick and tied of being called pesky, upstart, or upset minded so let's just call them a really good team.
- Clemson beat Furman 67-58 moving to 4-0 on the season but still winless against teams that actually matter.
- Tonight: My alma mater UNC Greensboro tangles with Duke in what is sure to be an epic beatdown, Georgia Tech takes on Georgia State much to the dismay of Georgia State, and Maryland meets St. John's in New York.
