Maryland 13 Clemson 12
Clemson doesn't score a touchdown. Maryland is 7-2 and tied for first in the Atlantic division with Wake Forest. In fact the Clemson timeout near the end and we see Tommy Bowden kneeling with his head in his hands looking like he is about to lose a loved one. Well he did and it was called is Top 25 ranking and any hope he had of getting Jacksonville.
Navy 38 Duke 13
Love that Paul Johnson offense. I just hope I never see it in Raleigh.
Notre Dame 45 UNC 26
Gutsy effort for UNC, their second straight, not to mention the second one since the coach was axed. Also, my heart really sucks at making predictions.
Georgia Tech 31 NC State 23
NC State hits the 24 point wall again and once again tries to rally in the last two minutes. Tech will be heading to Jacksonville.
Virginia Tech 17 Miami 10
And we should care, why? Miami is out of title contention now. VT is technically out unless GT loses to UNC and Duke so they are actually out.
Wake Forest 21 Boston College 14
I am now 1-3 when picking against the Deacs. So I am not going to pick them in every game from here on out. Wake ceases control of the Atlantic along with Maryland. Wake travels to FSU whose run defense will test Wake. BC needs to the Deacs to lose twice now but they still have a suddenly for real Maryland on the schedule along with Miami. I think we are all hoping that Maryland and Wake win their next two games to set-up a divisional title game in College Park on November 25th.
