It was really never that close. NC State led by 7 at the half and at one point led by 21 in the second half. This all in spite of the fact senior point guard Engin Atsur was lost for the game six minutes into with a hamstring injury. Ben McCauley, who looked very good at center for the Pack had 19 points. Brandon Costner had 17 points and 11 rebounds. It was a good win for NC State, although Michigan only beat Davidson by 10 points so it remains to be seen if beating the Wolverines is much better than beating Wofford.
