- NC State lost to #10 Alabama 82-75 despite being down as many as 23 points with eight minutes to go in the second half. Brandon Costner had 25 and the Pack had the services of transfer Trevor Ferguson who made a nice debut with five assists in 23 minutes.
- What the heck is wrong with Virginia? Last night they fell off the top bunk against Applachian State and tonight they got throttled by Utah 94-70. Sean Singletary has been MIA shooting 6 for 23 from the floor which includes an abysmal 1 for 8 from three point range. It also does not help that Utah actually improved upon App. State's 54% shooting from last night to blister the Cavs at a 62% clip.
- And Miami concluded the ACC shutout this evening with a 79-74 loss to Binghamton in Coral Cables. What is more disturbing is Miami could very well lose the next three games beat Wake Forest and head to Maryland 8-8 overall and 2-0 in the ACC.
