One Last Word on Smith and Knight

One more quick tidbit about Bob Knight passing Dean Smith. It is really kind of a moot discussion. Both coaches have been succesful at a level well beyond where most coaches. Of course it reminds me of a scene from Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Yoda has confronted Darth Sidious, now the Emperor, and they are verbally sparring prior to engaging in their fateful lightsaber duel in the Senate chamber. Yoda chides the Emperor for attempting to flee the room and the Emperor responds:

"You will not stop me. Darth Vader will become more powerful than either of us."

That's right. Dean Smith is Yoda, Bob Knight is the Emperor and yes, Mike Kryzewski is Darth Vader. It about as perfect an analogy as I have ever seen.

I just cannot decide if Roy Williams is Obi Wan Kenobi or Luke Skywalker.
