Finally some decent pitching from the Heels. The arms have been the strength of this team and so far here in June the pitching has been suspect. Not today as UNC cooled off a hot hitting Cardinal team and sent them back to Kentucky on the strength of seven innings of great pitching from Luke Pohkonen with Rob Wooten and Andrew Carignan. Now comes the really hard part and that is beating Rice twice. The best approach in my mind is to take it one game at a time.
