UPDATE: Davis has announced it officially. The various media outlets with undoubtedly have comments from the Tar Heel coach later in the evening.
Inside Carolina(via ESPN) is saying that T.J. Yates will be the starting QB for the Tar Heels when the season opens on September 1st versus James Madison. This is not really all that shocking and I will have more analysis when Davis addresses the media later this afternoon.
