The USA Today/ESPN coaches poll was released for the upcoming season and UNC is ranked #1. Of course they are only five points ahead of UCLA and eight points ahead of Memphis but all that means is this should be a fun season to watch.

As for ACC representation, Duke is #11 and NC State is #24. Clemson received 56 votes putting them at #29, Virginia had seven votes and Maryland had one.

In terms of UNC's schedule, potential opponent Louisville is #6 and Kentucky is #22. Ohio State is presently just outside the Top 25 at #28.
