This recruiting class is now the ultimate power in the universe.
Actually, I am not sure this class is as good as the 2006 class where Ty Lawson, Wayne Ellington and Brandan Wright were all #1 at their position. However it will be a good one with the addition of SG Leslie McDonald from Memphis, TN. McDonald is 6-4, 185 lbs and described as being very versatile. He is ranked #27 overall by Scout.com.
The commitment from McDonald basically gives UNC a full class in terms of positions with three big men in the form of David Wear, Travis Wear and John Henson. Dexter Strickland can come in at PG and now McDonald as the SG.
It also should be noted that Roy basically stole this kid right out from under John Calipari at Memphis and received the commitment after McDonald visited both UNC and Duke. In other words, Roy is cleaning everyone's clock right now on the recruiting trail.
