There was a time when the NCAA would only put a giant decal on the court to cover the logo of an NBA team. That's obviously no longer the case, as the RBC Center has one tonight. It's obviously not out of fear that viewers might confuse this or a Wolfpack game, since there's four different N.C. State logos on the court. No the NCAA, just wants to market themselves, at the expense of the players who slip and slide on the damn things. Just like Copeland and Hansbrough did during the ACC tournament.
Of course, this fits right in with the NCAA's practice of putting their image before the welfare of the "student-athletes," but what happens when someone's seriously injured by one of those things?
