UNC Gets a Somewhat-Home Field Advantage

Carolina has been selected as one of the sixteen host sites for the NCAA baseball tournament beginning next week. Alas, UNC doesn't actually have a home field at the moment, as Boshamer is still in the midst of renovation. Thus the "home" games will be played at, like all home stands this season, the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary. Closer to N.C. State - who are hosting their own regional in Raleigh - than Chapel Hill.

Anybody know why USA Baseball decided to put a training complex in Cary of all places?
