The ACC in the College World Series

Here's a little fact I was unaware of until today. The ACC has only one College World Series title to their name - Wake Forest's back in 1955. This year's field is doing pretty well, however, with Miami, N.C. State and Georgia Tech joining UNC with a day off after leading their respective regionals. Only Florida State and Virginia face elimination at this point. The Seminoles have a rematch against the Bucknell team that upset them Friday, while Virginia plays traditional powerhouse Cal State Fullerton. UNC waits for the winner of Elon and UNCW - the Heels beat UNCW yesterday, but lost to Elon in their only regular season matchup, 2-0 at "home."

Corn Nation has the summary on the tourney so far, and should have details on the various game feeds later today.
