UNC vs Georgia Southern

When: Saturday, October 10th, 3:30 PM
Where: Kenan Stadium, Chapel Hill, NC
TV: None. ESPN360 if you have it
Records: UNC 3-2, GSU 3-2

Time to work out the kinks. Well hard to call them kinks when your offense is 113th in total yards gained.

Basically, this is game is not going to tell us much about whether the offense is better or not. It will give the Heels a chance to work on some of the more troublesome aspects of their beleaguered offense against live competition. Hopefully it will include healthy doses of Ryan Houston and some plays that will permit T.J. Yates time to work. The problem is, even with the thin offensive line, it is still probable they will be able to handle the Georgia Southern front seven and not really put any offensive changes to the test. Regardless of the opponent this is an important game when it comes to getting the offense on track. Combined with 10 day break before hosting FSU for the first Thursday night game in Kenan Stadium history.

The defense should feast in this game. The only advice I have is no one get injured. Please.

UNC 2 GSU 0*

*Until the offense shows me something, I am going to assume a safety from the defense will do the trick.
