The ACC has put out UNC's schedule for next season, as well as everyone else's, obviously. It's not all that great for season-ticket holders; the marquee out of conference games are all either on the road or at the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic in New York. The Texas game will be the first basketball game in Jerry Jones' new Taj Mahal though, which bodes well for the Heel's chances, if history is any guide.
On the ACC side of things, Carolina draws the trio of Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest to play twice in addition to their two rivalry series. Boston College, Clemson, and Maryland are the three teams only played on the road; as all three were solid, middle-of-the-pack teams last season who lost few players, it looks to be a tough draw.
My first thoughts? Don't be surprised if UNC fades late. They'll be a very young team, and four of the last six games are road trips to Georgia Tech, Boston College, Wake Forest and Duke. The second half of February looks to be an uphill climb, to say the least.
