Granted Harrison Barnes is talking about next season but at least someone associated with the UNC program is showing signs of confidence.
Just a quick recap of some of the things that have been happening in the last week, I went to North Carolina last Wednesday and Thursday for the UNC-Duke game. It was fun to go back to UNC and be around my future team and Coach Williams. It also wasn’t bad that the weather was a little nicer there too. We (UNC) ended up losing the game, but a lot of the young guys came in and played well. The season has been a challenge and filled with adversity for my Tar Heels, but I’m confident that we will be okay and this will only make us better.
True to Carolina Family form, Barnes already considers himself part of the team. I also see evidence of leadership and confidence on Barnes' part. Two items sorely missing this season. Now if Reggie Bullock and Kendall Marshall can bring a little attitude and a never lose mentality not to mention accurate jump shooting, decent ball handling and a minimal of unforced errors, UNC could get this boat turned around in short order.
