As a warm-up to the Jordan Brand Classic tonight on ESPN2.
The highlights were sent along by Mike Richman at Oregon Live who was on hand for the Nike Hoop Summit and told me via email:
Barnes is the truth, in case you had even the slightest doubts, believe the hype.
At this point I think most doubt has been removed. Among UNC's many problems this past season the two most prominent in terms of scoring points was bad perimeter shooting and an inability to finish at the rim, especially with contact or traffic. Barnes can do both quite well.
And if I were rating players on a scale of 1-10 on whether they "get it" Barnes would get like a 15...easy.
