Via badbadleroybrown. The field at Kenan Stadium looks like it is ready to go. You will note the Blue Zone construction at the far end which includes a barrier that is right up against the back of the end zone. Hopefully that does not create issues for receivers in that end zone during the game. Also, that construction is exhibit A in diffusing talk of UNC backing away from big boy football. Whether people like it or not, this project means UNC is committed to the football program being more than just a futile exercise in 7-5 year in, year out. Even if it were to become necessary from a PR perspective to part ways with Butch Davis, my money would be on a successor who can continue the work he has started.
