This could be an epic game.

I know it annoys some fans from other ACC schools but the ACC needed this game. The national media have been crapping on the ACC all season long for being a weak league. Putting the best rivalry in college basketball in display in the title game trumps what most of the other conference tournaments have going on save the Big East. Boy do they know how to put on some dramatic games.

In my memory of UNC basketball, UNC has faced Duke in the ACC Championship in 1988, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1998 and 2001. The record is 3-3.
