It's not all the marbles mind you, that potentially comes next week when Virginia comes calling. For this weekend it is about getting into the position to make the series with UVa a winner take all clash for the Coastal Division. Granted that is far less important than snagging a national seed in the NCAA Tournament which UNC can take a huge step towards by taking care of the Yellow Jackets in this series. Yes, it is in Atlanta which means I expect Ben Bunting to be sucked into a black hole rounding second at some point.

Game 1: Friday, 4:00 PM, Patrick Johnson, 8-1, 3.10 ERA
Game 2: Saturday, 6:00 PM, Kent Emanuel, 6-1, 2.73 ERA
Game 3: Sunday, 1:00 PM, Chris Munnelly, 4-3, 3.91 ERA
As Adam Lucas notes, the real challenge versus Georgia Tech will be to get the offense(5th in the ACC in batting average) rolling against the second best team ERA in the ACC.

In other sports, the UNC men's lacrosse team faces off versus Maryland in the 1st Round of the NCAA Tournament. The women's lacrosse team will face Virginia in the NCAA Tournament on Saturday. Both games will be played at Fetzer Field.
