With all the fuss about Marvin Austin in a UNC helmet before the game – I couldn't really be bothered to care, personally – there was little mention of how he actually performed in the East-West Shrine game. Austin fell on a football knocked loose when Tennessee's Chris Walker sacked Texas A&M's Jerrod Johnson late in the fourth quarter of the already-decided game. Thus ends he college career of a good player with poor instincts.
