Smith broke his wrist and many UNC fans feel this derailed a team that could have won the national title.
Also noteworthy in the video is the reaction of Michael Jordan who took exception to the hard foul and came over to give Tudor a little shove before the referee retrained him. Jordan's ultra competitive nature is legendary. In this case he is sticking up for a fallen teammate in a game he also scored 29 points in leading the Heels to a win.
